Legends Hotel is, well, legendary, and it’s situated right on the seafront – minutes away from some of the best gay bars and clubs. It has its own club, The Basement Club – so stay away from the lower floors if you want an early night.

Club Revenge is a vibrant, busy club right in the heart of Brighton, with regular themed nights and events. Spread over three floors, the top floor has amazing views of the seafront. It’s one of the busiest clubs in Brighton, with a happy, upbeat vibe.
Affinity Bar is pretty new, with regular jukebox and karaoke nights. You’ve also got the Green Door Store, which isn’t exclusively gay, but does host a lot of gay events – including Kate Bush Discos and Madonna drag competitions!

As you might expect, there are a lot of quirky shops in Brighton, with plenty of gay shops. Go to Angel in Sydney Street for fetish wear, Cardome in St James’s Street for cards and gifts, Clonezone for sex toys, DVDs and underwear, and Café 22, which combines a café with cards, calendars and clothing.
